Lots of space, little tired decor wise Positive: Lots of space, great location very close to the convention centre Negative: Outside very dated and needed redecorating, wasn’t the cleanest

Definitely should not be called luxe apartment !!! Positive: We liked the proximity and the beds were fairly comfortable Negative: It wasn’t up to a decent standard it felt like we was in a student flat share. There were holes in the wall of the second bedroom which looked so scruffy. I have seen from previous reviews these have been there for a long while without being fixed. The oven was so disgusting and hasn’t been cleaned for months it was so awful. I’d be surprised if a cleaner has even wipe down the over in years!!!!!t To get to the flat you needed to climb three flights of stairs and no light was working it was like walking into a house of multiple occupancy it was awful. Again how can you advertise this when it’s just not fit for purpose The whole impression of the place was that the owners were doing it on the cheap. Also when I booked the property it stated there was parking yet 2 days before when I was unable to cancel I got an email advising me of the parking in the area. This was extremely inconvenient and not as advertised, having a disabled child and not having parking caused us problems. The place should not be called luxe this is against the trade descriptions act. We left a day early as we felt too uncomfortable with the parking situation, the disrepair of the place and the lights in the hallway, and generally felt like we was in a student flat share.

This is a great location and cool apartment for a reasonably priced weekend away! Positive: We loved the location, it was really central for anything you need in Harrogate. We visited a little Greek place literally next door called Mykonos which was delicious! The property has big rooms and plenty of space. Creative and pretty choice of decor. Negative: The outside of the property is really tired looking and the apt is high up but it didn't bother us better to be on top of other flats, we didn't see another person the whole time. The bedrooms were very clean, we had one socket at second bedroom window that didn't work but there's an extension so it was fine. In twin room mattresses were comfy, our friends said the double was in need of replacement. The lighting isn't great in second bedroom for getting ready but on a positive note very moody for relaxation. The cleanliness in the bathroom and kitchen was pretty poor, the sink hole was rammed with old food and the bathroom shower mouldy with low water pressure. We didn't eat there so I didn't see many other parts. Host advised there was a leak prior to stay in the kitchen ceiling. Area around the fridge was also badly damaged. Most windows didn't fully shut so don't think it would be too warm in cooler months.

Harrogate was beautiful. Accommodation was just ok. Positive: Its location and large living area Negative: Kitchen and bathroom were not clean and both are in need of an update. The stairwell up to the top room was poorly lit and bannister was loose near top. Rain came through kitchen ceiling lights so couldn’t be used for 2 days, no one around to come and sort it out.
